Terms of Service
These terms are a contract between you and xFlightStick, operated by an individual developer ("we", "us"). By installing the extension or buying a license, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't install the extension.
1. What xFlightStick does
xFlightStick is a browser extension that reads your racing wheel and pedals via the WebHID API and presents them to Xbox Cloud Gaming as a standard Xbox controller. It does not modify, decompile, reverse-engineer or interfere with Xbox, xCloud or any game — it only translates input that you, the user, are performing on a device you own.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use xFlightStick for its intended purpose. You may install and sign in on any number of devices you personally use. You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, rent or share your license with anyone else.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute the extension.
- Use xFlightStick to cheat, automate gameplay, or gain an unfair advantage in multiplayer games. The extension exists to enable physical wheel input, not to inject synthetic input.
- Use xFlightStick in a way that violates Microsoft's Xbox / Xbox Cloud Gaming terms or the terms of any game you play.
Your license is tied to the Google account you sign in with. If you lose access to that account, contact us and we will help you recover access after identity verification.
3. Price and payment
xFlightStick costs $6.99 once and grants lifetime access, including future updates. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Taxes (VAT etc.) are included in the price shown where applicable.
4. Refunds
Refund if it doesn't work. xFlightStick lets you test your wheel and pedals in free preview mode before you pay — the live overlay shows your input is reaching the extension. If you purchase and the extension still does not function with your setup, email support@xflightstick.com and we will refund you in full. Your license will be revoked when the refund is issued. Refunds are not issued for change of mind once the extension is confirmed working.
5. What you need
xFlightStick doesn't include an Xbox Game Pass subscription. You need Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from Microsoft to stream games through Xbox Cloud Gaming, and a compatible racing wheel connected via USB. Supported wheels are listed on the homepage.
6. Availability and updates
We aim to keep xFlightStick working as xCloud, browsers and wheel firmware evolve. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service — if Microsoft, Google, or a hardware vendor makes a change that breaks things, we will work to fix it but cannot promise specific timelines.
7. No affiliation with Microsoft or Xbox
xFlightStick is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. "Xbox", "Xbox Cloud Gaming", "xCloud", "Forza", "Forza Horizon" and "Forza Motorsport" are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here for descriptive, nominative purposes only.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
xFlightStick is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or from use of xFlightStick is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost profits, lost game progress, etc.). This clause does not limit liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these terms (for example, by sharing the license or using xFlightStick to cheat). In that case we may revoke access without refund. You may stop using the extension at any time; uninstalling removes it from your browser.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the extension popup. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by contacting support@xflightstick.com will be subject to binding arbitration on an individual basis, waiving any right to a class action, under the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration body.
